Out of Time, like the mysterious tree within its pages, transports the reader to another place and time. Reluctant time traveler, Marion, finds herself whisked from our modern day world to the year 1191, a frightening and dangerous time to appear out of thin air. Thinking quickly in a crisis, Marion relies on some twenty-first century technology only to be targeted as an asset by one of the most dangerous men of the age. But luck - or could it be fate? - is on her side when she meets Hildegarde, the Abbess of nearby Sparnstow Abbey. Hildegarde, who has a few tricks - and secrets - up her sleeve, helps Marion navigate through this strange world. Marion has a husband and children waiting for her back in her own time. Readers will sit on the edge of their seats waiting to see if she'll make it home or if she will be ensnared by the greed of Prince John. The imagery in Out of Time plunges the reader into its beauty, and the relatable characters evoke cheers and jeers as the story unfolds. It's a fantastic read with a lingering question that begs the question - sequel?
