Ina Morata

I’m a bibliophillic, hopeless romantic with a fascination for mythology. Matters of the heart play a big part in my erotica and erotic romance, as do psychological, emotional and physical boundaries. My work contains steamy, emotive and sometimes dark themes, and includes dominance in real and virtual situations, spanking, bondage, voyeurism, and a whole number of other delicious, erotic themes. My stories don’t always have happy ever after endings, but they’re always erotic in their own distinct ways.

The Coming of Eve

The Coming of Eve
Average Book Review Rating: No ratings yet.

Ina Morata is a writer of erotic fiction, often with a romantic twist. Her work leans towards the literary in its content, style and themes, and frequently deals with the darker, hidden, more emotionally unnerving nature of explorations into sex and sexuality, desire, and of being in love – or in lust. Ina frequently writes about the blurring of fantasy and reality, voyeurism, spanking and erotic adapted from history, myth and art. Her writing does not always have a ‘happy ever after’ ending – sometimes it is soulful and sad – but it is always sexy and intelligent in its own distinctive way. If her work arouses you, wonderful; if it makes you think or feel, or both, then even better.

The Coming of Eve is the first novella in Ina’s ‘The Eden Collection’. She is a contributing author to the ‘Lust’ paranormal erotica series. Each volume is an anthology of steamy novellas by the #PNRLust writers. Her novella, ‘Flights of Fantasy’, is included in Lust on the Wing. ‘Leanan Sidhe and the Wordsmith’ is in Lust in Tooth and Claw. This volume sees the start of a new series by Ina about the Leanan Sidhe. She is currently writing more novellas for the ‘Lust’ series, and a solo erotic short story collection on voyeurism and exhibitionism. She is also blogging her Love Slave trilogy, so her readers have a chance to give feedback and offer suggestions about how they would like to see the books progress.

Ina has a degree in English Language and Literature, and a Masters in English. She has freelanced as an editor and proofreader, and has had numerous stories published under a different name.

Author Book

When Eve first agrees to live with Adam at Eden, she intends to go into it with her eyes wide open. A clever, independent woman, she has no recollection of her life prior to adulthood. It has left her scared of the unknown and, in particular, of not being able to see what is happening to her. But from their very first accidental meeting in the garden, she discovers a secret love for Adam’s very particular kind of punishment. In agreeing to live at Eden House, all she really wants is a way to tempt him, to make him repeat everything he did to her on that first day. And so, she finds herself at Adam’s home, where the rule is that she must do exactly as she is told.

Adam’s loathing of apples, and his refusal to eat them, provides perfect opportunities for Eve to tempt him into punishing her due to her disobedience. But what she doesn’t expect is the way she begins to feel—about her punishment, about Adam, and about the fears that drive her innate masochism. The way she reacts to Adam’s treatment of her, and the strange way he seems to behave towards her, leads her down a seductive path of excitement, fear and confusion over just what kind of punishment she is willing to bear. With every new experience comes another form of pleasure, and of pain, until Eden is no longer the place she thought it was.

When all seems lost, and when Eden seems beyond her reach, will she find a way to create a life in Eden with Adam? What is it, ultimately, that will be the real and irresistible temptation?

This is a 40,000-word novella, and also includes an extract from Ina Morata's forthcoming collection of short stories on erotic voyeurism.
